Kona, HI Day 10

Friday, our last day in Hawaii.  Our flight was in the early afternoon, so we got up early with Kayla (she had been sleeping through the night from about 7 to 6 am since the second night.  6 am sucks, but beggars can't be choosers.)  This is the morning I took her 9 month photos, since she was really in a good mood.  So we went out to the living area with the open air windows and snapped some photos while the sun rose.  Here is a sneak peak of the back of my little stinker...

Then we went downstairs to gather and get ready for our flight home.  Dad was back to work and being serious Work Dad.  We really missed Vacation Dad and I told him he needed a bloody mary or a vodka tonic to relax a little.

After we had gotten our bags packed and together and determined which adult was taking which baby products in which carry ons (a process for sure), we just relaxed and played with Kayla for a bit.

We were all very sad to leave this beautiful island and head back to the real world, but I got to snap these precious last moments in Kona at the outdoor airport.  What a memorable trip.  I feel so lucky to have such a wonderful family to get to do such amazing things with.  Even though Kayla won't remember it, at least I will have these photos to show her when she's a little older. :)
