Dude, I am forever going to be behind right? That's just how it works with three? I've started scheduling out my "to-do" list in my planner so I'm going to try to blog at least once a week (for real this time). Anyways, here is what I can remember from 3 months ago!
Weight: Probably around 15 pounds or so but not really sure.
Length: Not a clue
Head circumference: No idea
Physical milestones: Tanner rolled over once from his belly to his back on the floor next to the dinner table the day after his 3 month birthday. Therefore, he is getting pretty good at lifting his head and shoulders in prone (on his belly non PT people). :) He also founds his hands and realized he can touch them with each other this month.
Eating/Sleeping: Sticking to our same 7, 10, 1, 4, 7 schedule during the day pretty much (give or take 30-45 minutes here and there). Nighttime got down to about 1-2 feedings per night depending on the night. They are never at the same time. It's really a crap shoot. The kid is still a fabulous eater, just like his big bro. He is liking the pacifier more and still mostly falling asleep for naps and nighttime on his own.
This kid is really the most happy baby. He is so easy to be around and Kayla and Brody just LOOOOVE him. Still waking up at night 1-2 times but doesn't bother me because he goes right back to sleep and I get to lay with him a little bit and get some mommy snuggles in. He adores his brother and sister. Just like everyone else, Brody makes him giggle and he lights up when he sees Kayla come into the room. He is so content and will likely be a little slower with the milestones since Brody and Kayla do everything for him! I'm willing time to slooooooooow down!

Tanner 2 month update
Slowly catching up. I have lots of photos from some Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations I'm hoping to share soon.
Weight: 14 lbs (exactly the same as Brody was at 2 months - he is slowing down)
Length: 24.5 inches (though I think he was more like 25 inches, but the nurse was like afraid to stretch his legs)
Head circumference: 40.6 cm
Physical milestones: Definitely more smiling and some giggling during this month. He still is great with tummy time but not too much head lifting. Here and there he will have a big long hold and lift, but mostly he just turns his head side to side. He is definitely recognizing family members, and I still think Kayla is his favorite person. He is always smiling when he sees her. He would also kick me when he was in my belly when Kayla was around me too. I can see they are going to have a special bond. Still doesn't quite recognize his hands yet.
Eating/Sleeping: Tanner is still on the same schedule pretty much during the day, eating at 7, 10, 1, 4, and then usually closer to 6:30 to get to bed a bit earlier. He seems to be doing very well with an eat, play, sleep routine and still usually falls asleep on his own in the crib for naps and the pack 'n play in our room for bed time. He likes the pacifier a little more now but still doesn't usually need it very much. Night time sleep is going pretty well, the long stretch gradually started to increase this month. He usually sleeps from 7pm to at least 1 am and eventually started stretching closer to 3 am. He is definitely not as consistent with night time wake times as Brody was (11 pm and 2 am for 11 months straight without any deviation).
Overall, Tanner is still a very cool, calm baby who sleeps and naps quite well and is still a great eater. He really is just happy. He does have this pig squealing cry when he is overtired at night so we've learned to try very hard to avoid this as he is quite difficult to calm down. He is very very wiggly, even the doctor said "He just never stops moving those arms and legs does he?" Nope, he doesn't. Always moving, but I still feel like he will be a little behind Kayla and Brody with regards to physical milestones, which is just fine with me. Incase he is our last baby I am soaking up every second I can. We all just love him so much, and he is sure is easy to love. I have especially enjoyed my time alone with Tanner and am struggling with returning to work. But I know daycare is so excited to have him and will take good care of him. So hard for me to let go of my babies...

Tanner's 1 month Check In
Tanner turned a month a long time ago lets be honest. I guess it's the price you pay for being the third child. I'm trying very hard to keep updating. I have blogging once a week on my new years resolution list. I'm calling them goals for the new me in the new year because I really just want to make sure I'm enjoying my life and happy with myself which will make me happier and healthier physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Ok I'm going to try to remember as much as possible about when Tanner turned 1 month old.
Weight: 12 lbs 9.8 oz (he was bigger than Brody at this point! 95th%)
Length: 23.5 inches (99th %)
Head circumference: 39.5 cm (95th%)
Physical milestones: He loves tummy time but tends to lift his head only a little and mostly turns his head side to side or hangs out looking at one of his siblings who LOVE to talk to him and lay with him. He started tracking me and my voice especially around the room, but I can tell he loves hearing Kayla near him and is a bit fearful of Brody near him. :) Small purposeful smiles came out around 1 month, but he seemed to be more serious at the time than Brody for sure and even Kayla.
Eating/Sleeping: Ever since birth, Tanner has been on a pretty consistent schedule. When he was about 4-5 days old, I said to Justin wouldn't it be great if he ate on a schedule, like 7, 10, 1, 4, 7, 10, 1, 4 o'clock? Well turns out he liked that schedule at lot. He's been on that schedule during the day since birth (7 am, 10 am, 1 pm, 4 pm and 7 pm then bed). He was waking up 2-3 times per night but was VERY easy to put back to sleep. He loves sleep more than either other kid I can tell as you can lay him down awake and he falls asleep on his own with minimal fussing and minimal use of the pacifier. So far, he's a really really great baby.
The doctor is VERY impressed with his growth. Even I was surprised at how big he was at this visit! We have a new doctor and I LOOOOVE her. She said he looks great, his hips are great (one was clicking a bit after birth but that went away). I asked about the gas which seems to be mainly what is keeping hip up at night, she said we can try gripe water or mylicon drops but it just takes some time for them to develop the ability to digest the milk. I burp him after each side I feed him and try very hard to get him to burp even at night, however he is much to sleep at night to burp.
Kayla and Brody LOOOOOOOOVE Tanner. I was worried about Brody's transition but he's been so great! In fact, he is better with Tanner than most other people. He is gentle and likes to talk to him and help me by getting diapers, pacifiers, etc. Kayla is of course the amazing big sister she has always been, and is ok with having a second brother for now. :)
It really feels like Tanner's been around forever, like he was just meant to be here. I am loving our family of 5 so much! And the transition for me hasn't been too bad either! It helps that Tanner is a very chill baby and the kids are doing great and still going to "school" 3 days a week.
1 month photos were tough as I'm trying to re-aquaint myself with my camera...
This last one is definitely blurry but I like the composition. I really should go back into photoshop and try to clean up his skin a bit, but his baby acne was REALLY bad at this point and sometimes honest is the best right? Love my littlest man!
